ABSTRACT AND SEMI-ABSTRACT GRAPHICS INSPIRED BY BIKE TRACKS LEFT IN DIRT

Early intentions were about creating some semi-abstract creatures for individual tricot designs - but experiments show that the rough appearance of the modified patterns can be used in manifold ways for producing graphics keeping the rough touch of such treads.
The tread monster graphics are all created form rearranged, redesigned and retouched tread patterns. The basic raw material is a small image detail of an exposure showing a bike tyre fragment of a Schwalbe product. Redesigned and distorted it is used as incremental pattern for the whole series.
